We are proud of the many business people, engineers and computer professionals whom we number among our successful graduates. Indeed, many employers have found our graduates to be particularly motivated and well qualified.

Those of you whom are already with us at University of Dorchester know that our main goal is to provide high quality opportunities to individuals seeking knowledge and a brighter future. To us here at Dorchester, our main concern in meeting that goal has been prioritizing the individual and changing needs of our varied student body. Since our founding we have sought to meet this goal to the best of our ability, and have done so successfully. We understand that adults returning to college, starting college or simply completing their degree, have different needs and time constraints when it comes to higher education. • Mission and Purpose

Dorchester University was founded with the purpose of providing higher education for those wishing to advance scholastically and vocationally.

To achieve this, we intend to:

1. Open enrollment to those mature individuals with proven skills and abilities.
2. Offer multiple degree programs to qualified candidates.
3. Allow students to transfer credits from other institutions and learning venues, at our discretion.
4. Keep registration and tuition fees readily affordable, and provide payment plans and scholarships to those students who qualify.
5. Provide educational opportunities and degree programmes consistent with the aspirations of our students.
6. Conduct our affairs in such a manner that acknowledges the variety of our student body and their need for flexibility and personal attention.
7. Provide continuing support to all of our alumni.
8. Meet the educational obligations and responsibilities inherent to superior institutions of higher education.
9. Provide an open door to higher education for dedicated learners; and honor the high qualitative standards that have been a hallmark of Dorchester University.
